A Festival of Carols for mixed chorus and harp
- Commotio, with cellist Rosie Banks, conducted by Matthew Berry, will launch the release of their most recent recording, titled Night, in a concert of works from the new compact disc. The program will include Motet for Passion Sunday.

In Praise of Mary
- Cantabile Chorale, conducted by Sanford Dole, will present a concert of Marian choral music, including the Six Marian Motets for unaccompanied mixed choir:

Beautiful Voice
- The Compline Choir, conducted by Peter Hallock, will include Laudate Dominum in the Service of Compline on the evening of the Second Sunday After Pentecost. The work was commissioned by The Compline Choir and first performed one year ago.

Peace and Reconciliation
- The Stanford Memorial Church Choir and Stanford Chorale will join forces on two successive evenings to present the annual Festival of Lessons and Carols. Included in the program will be Ferko's setting of Adam Lay Ybounden for unaccompanied mixed voices.

Three excerpts from Merton Songs at Wolf Trap
- Baritone Keith Phares will present three songs from Merton Songs in a winter Discovery Series concert performed jointly with mezzo-soprano Patricia Risley and pianist Kim Pensinger Witman.
Pre-Concert Talk by Frank Ferko on the piano work Vingt Regards sur l'Enfant-Jésus by Olivier Messiaen
- Stanford Lively Arts presents pianist Christopher Taylor in a performance of the complete cycle Vingt Regards sur l'Enfant-Jésus in observance of the Messiaen Centenary. Commentary by Frank Ferko on this monumental piano work will precede the concert.
- Dinkelspiel Auditorium, Stanford University, Sunday, February 22, 2009. The concert will begin at 2:30 p.m., and Mr. Ferko's pre-concert talk will begin at 1:30 p.m.
