Composer/Organist Frank Ferko: A Conversation with Bruce Duffie (April 20, 2000)
Bruce Duffie recorded an interview with Mr. Ferko to be broadcast on WNIB radio in Chicago on January 31, 2001. Although the interview was edited for broadcast, Mr. Duffie has recently posted a transcript of the entire interview on his website.

Pre-Concert Talk at Stanford University: "An Overview of the Organ Works of Olivier Messiaen" delivered at the inaugural concert of Stanford's Messiaen Centenary Celebration, an all-Messiaen organ recital performed by Dame Gillian Weir in January 2008.
Pre-Concert Talk at Stanford University which introduced the audience to Olivier Messiaen's Vingt Regards sur l'Enfant-Jésus and preceded a live performance of the work by Christopher Taylor, presented as part of Stanford University's Messiaen Centenary Celebration. The concert took place on Sunday, February 22, 2009, at Dinkelspiel Auditorium.
"Commissioning New Music: A Guide for Church Musicians" presented to the North Shore Chapter, AGO (November 2003) and the Fox Valley Chapter, AGO (October 2004).
"The Summary Organ Works of Olivier Messiaen," a lecture/demonstration presented at the Thirty-First Annual Meeting of the College Music Society in Santa Fe, New Mexico. An abstract of the presentation is published in CMS Proceedings: The National and Regional Meetings, 1988.
During his 2001-2003 composer residency with the Dale Warland Singers Mr. Ferko organized and presented and participated in pre-concert talks on various topics for the audience. These inlcuded discussions of new music, the setting of literary texts, interviews with composers and performers. Mr. Ferko was also invited to present his own works to students at the University of Minnesota, Augsburg College (both in Minneapolis) and Hopkins High School (Minnetonka, Minnesota).
From 1992 to 2014 Mr. Ferko made numerous guest presentations of his own music at various universities in the U.S. and for chapters of the American Guild of Organists.
